any reefers out there experience having these 2 fishes in a tank?

planning to get a neon goby soon. falco hawkfish had been a resident in my tank for almost a month. was wondering will falco hawkfish chase the neon goby?

Errr..... what's Falco hawkfish? You mean Long nose hawk or Flame hawk?

Anyway, I kept both together once. As long as you have a big enough tank they should be alright.

hawk need to take note. they tend to get itchy mouth at times whenever things can fit into their mouth. especially shrimps.

i will suggest to be on the safe side, dun get either of one unless neon is bigger in size.

all the best.

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

i will say that hawks will at times consume small gobies. however it is unusual for fishes to eat cleaners. because of their blue/black combination, it allows other fishes to know that they are cleaners. its a colour combination called "cleaner blue"

however, no guarantees. if the neon goby is bigger, you can try. smaller ones are no no.

I suggest not to keep falco. Almost 99% of all owners regret getting it. Don't limit ureself. I gave mine up coz not willing to risk my prized fishes

i actually caught the fish from my tank yesterday already, intending to return to the fish farm but my wife kept saying she likes the falco, so seeing that my dottyback was gone, i let go back into my tank. now my falco is the smallest fish inside.
