SRC Member comycus Posted November 20, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted November 20, 2009 need to feed suns ah? mushies/leathers/zoas can do w/o feeding right? suns are beautiful, but non photosynthetic. no feed = die. The rest just need light. They have symbiotic algae zooxanthellae to provide the majority of its nutritional requirements through photosynthesis. Of course if you add phyoplankton or other filter feeding coral food once in a while will also be good for them. Quote My old 3ft
