Faster stock up... :eyebrow: I'm in the process of selecting corals to sell off first so i can get other corals in...

No offend but I dun think we should encourage others to stock up fast! Be it corals or fishes. U are doing the same to Chris. Their tank is all <3mths old (though with good equipments but still relatively unstable). We should encourage responsible reefing here in SRC..

Hey Crafts,

you still "owe" me a photo of your clams :)

any updates on your tank?

hi Jacky,

Oh yah! :) have been really busy at work the past week or so. Just got back from HK, and trying to clear up some work before I head out for the Christmas hols. So have not had the time to log on.

Will try and take a photo soon.

Have added some more LS, both corals and fishes. In fact, quite abit... :P will take photos soon.

you shouldnt start putting your LS so fast, many reefers make that mistake, and a good reef need time to settle and stablelise, having good equipment aids an aquarium:)if you have the best equipment in the world, whatever it is you still need time:)maybe a bit off topic because i just read your whole thread:)

this is an advice, utting in LS so fast may lead to problems and may cause to some deaths, once the tank is cycled properly, you can add LS without any worry:)this is my opinion:)

lol not very true.

depend how many you add at one time.

If you add too many, another mini cycling process will kickoff again.

Jacky,

Photo of my clam below. Bad picture as its from my iphone. I'll whip out the DSLR over the weekend to do it more justice. <_< . But, its bright blue in colour.

Think I know the pattern of the clam you got.

Should be pretty nice when fully opened.

How big is your clam?

The zoas behind looks nice too.

The tank looks great bro! Slow down on the stocking and let the tank stabilize yeah?

Btw you have got some pretty aggressive fish in there. What are you looking at next?

Thanks bro.... Yeah.. will have to slow down now. Getting busy at work.

This is pretty much it.... most of the inhabitants are retired for the day, with just 10 minutes before lights out when these photos were shot. Mostly wrasses and fire fishes. Just the tangs and a pair of coral beauties which have balanced out their misgivings. Actually, to be honest, I dont see them badgering each other... happy family at this point form what I can observe.

You will prob see abit more aggression when they start settling down. But would prob be more to new inhabitants than their current ones. Wrasses still might jump from time to time, can consider a netting.

hmmm i spot a really cute yellow clown goby. Where did you get it from? Looks good sized. Is it feeding yet? You might have to watch out as they do nip SPS. Wouldn't suggest keeping it if you wanna keep SPS. (if it's already feeding and you wanna let it go, let me know, I want! :) )
