SRC Member LaW Posted November 25, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted November 25, 2009 the pic look over exposed,if the term is correct.too bright from normal. yeah, i bet its touched on. Quote If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless. Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. || Tank: 78" x 30" x 30" || Sump: 48" x 22" x 20" || Lights: PowerModule 10 X 80W|| Returns: 2 x HF32 || || Skimmer: BubbleKing Supermarin 300 || Wavemaker: 3 x 6100 & 1 x 6200, 2 x Wavebox 6212, WavySea || || FR: 2 x FR150 || NR: Sulphur Denitrator || CR: RM Custom Made 8" || KR: Deltec KM500 || TopUp: Tunze Osmolator 3155 || || UV: Coralife 12X 36W || Ozonizer: Sanders C200|| Controller: GHL Profilux Plus II Ex ||

craftsman
The lights are finally in! Steve and Atu came by yesterday afternoon..... First, the T5s... 2 tubes of ATI T5 39 Watt 36" True Actinic.... Atu got it fixed on the custom aluminium frame. Placing the frame and T5s on the hood Heres the Coralvue Lumen Bright reflectors with the 250watt,12000k Reeflux Metal Halide bulbs from Coralvue. Placement of all the lights.... From another angle... A lousy front tank shot for now. I haven't had the time yesterday to get out my tripod and camera to take a nice shot. I also have to figure out what the white balance tweaking should be. The photos don't represent the true colour I see with my eyes.... chanbi
Hi, just wonder how do you prevent rain from the side? I am struggling to find a good solution (mine is at the balcony with rain that can come in by the side).. I fixed up a blind by the side but lately the wind is so strong at night and i dun think it is a long term solution (the blind might give way??).. I know u have experience previously as well (fresh water?) so wonder what do u use to block the rain?

Sure. No problem. let me do it tonight. But its really just an inverted "L" support. The aluminium frame rests on it.

SRC Supporter ReDDeviLs Posted December 2, 2009 SRC Supporter Share Posted December 2, 2009 hi bro, thanks for the pic. juz to let u know, my former MH was something like that too. the screws are the 1 holding the MH. so make sure u "maintain" or watch them once they rust they will become weak and falls off. but may take some time.. which is even more dangerous bcos we tend to forget it since its there for years haha. MH dropping in is no joke Quote [ ] [ ] Reef Reefing Reefed
