hey ppl,,can i run two FR's as in one phosphate and one carbon??but in seperate FR's..i already have a skimz FR that is running on phosphate..can i run another seperate one running carbon?

Tank - 4ft x 2ft x 2ft Custom Cabinet

of course you can, it's only about space & $$$

but remember to replace carbon at least monthly...

:) so what are the advantages of running carbon?

how much should i fill my fr till..currently i am using around 3 inches of phosphate

bro, i believe carbon remove some toxics n yellowish tint from the water. Also, it might remove some trace elements as well. You might need to dose trace elements or just use it periodically as and when it is required.

You should add up to about 1/2 the height of your FR.

My Setup:

3x2x2 tank with IOS

Equipment List:

Chiller: Artica 1/5HP

Chiller Pump: Sicce 4000

Return Pump: OR3500

Skimmer: Deltec APF600

Wavemaker: Tunze Wavebox/2x Hydor K2/SCWD wavemaker
