btw, I already have another 70 - 300 mm zoom lens

I would assume if you get another lens, these are your choices regardless of brand.

1. 18-85/18-135

Good normal walkabout lenes to cover your missing range.

2. 50mm F1.8

cheap, perfect potrait lens for your princesses to learn how to become models :) And great for tank shots too. f1.4 if you want to cough out the dough.

3. 17-55mm f2.8

relatively fast zoom lens for a balanced lens.

I'm more inclined to primes. That's my view coz I don't mind lugging around 2-3 lens in my small camera bag. depend on your requirements :) happy searching!

Hey bro if i were u i would either get the 17-85mm($1000 plus) :eyebrow: or the 50mm f1.8(this is cheap, real cheap $159) :rolleyes:

1ft cube with IOS [the low tech tank]

1. JBJ C-breeze to keep temp hovering around 27-28'C

2. LED clip on - 120 bulbs

My 3 humble equipments that keeps my tank running... [DRIED OUT]

1. The RSM itself of course 2.My NEW Deltec MCE-300 Skimmer 3. My trusty Arctica Chiller

Tank parameters:

Temperature maintained at 25.3'C to 24.7'C

No3: 10ppm(b4 the use of the deltec skimmer)

No3: 5ppm (after use of the skimmer)

Others? too lazy to measure...LOL

Keeping myself brand-neutral, a prime 50mm f1.4 will be great for portraits. Superb in low light conditions and quick shutter speeds. If you princesses are an active lot, you have to run around a lot with primes to get a good frame.

:evil: How about a 50mm and 85/95/100/105mm macro?

Great for taking potraits of your princesses and reef shots too! You will wow everyone of us :)

Buy all the Lenses that are L series :eyebrow:
