small white shell on glass surface and rock.

Hi everyone,

Recently there has been a lot of tiny white shell like stuff sticking on the glass and live rock surface.

Is it harmful? Do I have to remove it?

A picture would help, but my first guess would be spirorbid worms.

Do a quick google and if it is indeed it, it's harmless

It doesn't hurt to scrape them off with a card, but they're reef-safe filter feeders.

An abundance of them usually means the tank is doing good.
