Starphire or Low Iron Glass

You can also consider crystal glass. No difference in colour of corals, just better clarity and less distortion. Mine used to be normal glass 8mm thick, but my current crystal glass is 10mm thick and appears to be much clearer. Loving it.

The only diff will be the lack of a green tinge caused by Fe2+ ions embeded in normal glass. However, these special types of glass cost much more and should only be got when one has money to spare. Don't skimp of other more vital things such as a good skimmer just to get this special glass if you are tight on your budget.

Hi, just wonder whether anyone with starphire or Low Iron glass feel any diff compare with normal glass? Should be less greeny but coral/fish colour any diff? :unsure:

bro, u will like the effect of the better visual quality.. Price abit steep though but worth the buck, IMO

i just order my tank.. with crystal glass on the front and one right side.. 12mm.. hehe..

Wah..... must have open hse when your tank is up hor Peihao83!
