need help whats the equpiment used to cut off the MH lightset if the chillier happen to fail?

Any ideas where to get it and how much?

DIY would be fun.

You need :

1) Thermostat with relay contacts - abt $60 - $80 depend the brand

2) Additional relay - 230V with 2 dry contact - abt $20

3) 2 x socket outlets

4) 3 x 3pin plugs

5) 1 box to house the whole thing - $20

6) 3 core cables, some 2.5mm2 cables

All the above will save your LS if your chiller fails when MH running.

Thought only need a Thermostat with relay contacts (with normaly close "NC" and normally open "NO") and you just set the temp to like 30 degrees to trigger the shut off of the MH? Where your MH is connected to normally close (NC) and when detect temp exceed 30 degrees (with assumption that chiller is faulty with chiller temp set as 27 degree) and the relay in the Thermostat will trigger to normally open (NO). Off course the MH will need to be connected to a timer before connectting to the Thermostat AC output to provide the timing for MH ON and OFF.

Not sure if my understanding is correct.
