Advise Needed....

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, i got a question or two to ask.....

1) Do you need to switch on the lights while in the cycling stage??

2) Should the skimmer be working also??

I currently do not have any LS in it just LR. I've read that some reefers acyually say that we should

keep the lights on during cycling, so I'm quite confuse here.

Do advise thanks everyone......Cheers... :D

hi rudees,

1) skimmer is a better to on

2) lighting is up to you but i suggest, yes, oning it is better.

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

when u purchase livestock, you bring them back from the shop.

during the process of shipping them back to your tank, there will be die offs from the "live" rock.

so u need to keep the skimmer on to skim these things :)

Skimmer must switch on.

Lights can use the blue lights to simulate coraline algae growth, provided all other parameters are ok.

ok thanks rockyboy nice to know another malay reefer here....hehehehehehe....
