Suggestion for LFSes to improve their services

Maybe can start a thread to give feedback on our expectations on LFSes, hopefully they can learn from here and improve but NO SHOP NAME SHOULD BE QUOTED.....

For a start....

1. Call for reservation and helping to reserve for regular customers are good but one thing i dislike is those "helper/s" helping to unpack just anyhow take the "gems" and leave it one side for those he or she knows to select(without them asking the helper to help them keep those gems). I think it is rather unfair to those who came earlier and end up with disappointment as they know they won't be faster than those "helpers".

2. Stand-in equipment if equipment breaks down. For LFSes selling equipment, though warranty is important but i think as reefer, we want almost immediate assistance to ensure our tank won't crash if one equipment is down. Take for example, if a skimmer is down, the LFS keeps their promise to ensure replacement but this will take a week or so, hope they can understand whether the tank can last without the equipment until the replacement set comes in.

3. Respond to enquiry within 24 hrs.

bro, no matter what sure got ppl no happy want lah. it's part of parcel fo life. one thing for sure is $ talks! i'm no siding on either end but jsut my experiences as a reefer.

1. Let me feedback - People who likes to reserve stocks. Good and bad for LFS. Good in the sense, there r already buyers. Bad in the sense, some people who called to reserve, took more than a week to collect. I would suggest to LFS not to allow reservations but FCFS basis unless that gem/s is pre-ordered by reefer/s.

2. "Helpers who help themselves but not others" - they come snap up the gems and go, but make a mess of the place. LFS should not allow these "helpers" to help themselves in the first place.

3. LFS should be more patient with customers who want to take their time to browse. Sometimes, we dun have what we want in mind yet or too many gems to choose.

4. Suggestion to LFS to improve customer experience - serving coffee or tea and allow customers to sit there relax first, chit chat...haha..that would be nice. Just suggesting, dun bombz me.

yeah you rite $$$ make the world go round but must know where to park the $$$ too i personally feel that customer service and after sales service is of ultimate importance. it make or break a brand.

i'm sucker for good service and i tends to go overboard when receive good service.

my thoughts is - it depends. Service is not everything. It does play a part but pricing is a key factor too.

If I know what I need, then I do not mind go somewhere convenient where service is not as good.

Just grab and run.
