Sea Hare

Hi Bro

This is normal for Sea Hare to produce lots of waste. If your Bio system is effective, it should convert the waste very fast and not to worry. The only problem I encounter for Sea Hare is that not enough to feed it....that mean no more algea.

Thus its a good practice to share the sea hare between 3 -4 reefer and each one have it for a week or so. This is provided you are able for take it out from your tank. For smaller tank like 2 * 1 * 1 tank, then it is easy. For larger tank, it will be a chanllege to take out the sea hare.

Quite pity for the fate of seahare. Always die of starvation, got suck into the wavemakers etc.

Those of you are going to get one, pls think through on the environment that the seahare is going to be, not just to rid of algae.

yea I agree my kept being sucked into the wavemaker

anyway got fed up so bought sand dollars and abalone to replace it hmm <_<

anyone here has a seahare that has no problems?

Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

If seahares die within a week it is most likely due to insufficient acclimatization, either at the LFS/farm side or at the buyer's side.

my was dead because of my wave maker <_<
