SRC Member pokmingsheng Posted November 25, 2009 Author SRC Member Share Posted November 25, 2009 Bro nice collection of fishes you have there. Any plans on upgrading soon? your 2ft tank looks like getting abit overcrowded with 2 Tangs. How's the bioload coming along? nope... no plans as yet... cant sustain the maintainace and equipment of a tank bigger than 2ft cube... still studying, getting very little income only.. haha... maintaining my NO3 with AZ-NO3... thinking of using vodka to maintain NO3 after this bottle finishes... looked around for the smallest BT and YT i can find already.. but i know eventually they will still grow big.. i'll see how by then.. haha.... SRC Member pokmingsheng Posted November 25, 2009 Author SRC Member Share Posted November 25, 2009 He has most of the fishes that I want minus the tangs. my purple firefish is the "oldest" fish in the tank.. been there with me since Day1... got it when it was really small.... survived the first ich outbreak many months back, still as strong as ever.... haha.. Well, I've seen people whose Flame Angels never ever bio their corals and i've also seen people whose Flame Angels suddenly go coral crazy one fine day and when that happens there's no turning back... I guess if you feed them well, possible that will reduce their tendency but feed well = high bioload. no no for nano. If your cleaner shrimp died in the rocks, it could already have been eaten by your other cleaner shrimp. SRC Member teebs Posted December 9, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted December 9, 2009 oh... so cleaner shrimps will also eat up dead LS? Yup, they are also scavengers. In fact all marine fishes and shrimps will eat dead LS. To them any dead LS is just an extre source of food. My prata actually ate one of my clowns that died recently...
