why can't fish distinguish between poop and food... until they have tasted it?

my angel pooped ... and purple ate it ... didn't spit it out at all ... umm, that bad ? i know it's yuck but ... and it's funny to see one fish after the other trying it out after one spat it out.

BTW, found posting in NR and RC that relates to coco worm pooing..... So I think it is confirmed that they poo like fishes and they poo a lot!

Tangs tend to do that a lot... Very funny to imagine them exclaiming "SHIT!" immediately after spitting out, cos that's the expression they have haha..

whoa ... they really can do this huh. last night i took off one LRs for reloc, and came out 2 worms (not sure what kind), one about 8 cm, another 5 cm. i thought well, maybe just throw em back, my CO said NOOooooo ....

Lol... i am quite sure its them.. cos since my sixline is no longer around to watch them they now decided to create trouble.. need to find another baby sixline..

better throw them away....esp if they are bobbit worms...

brittle worms may not be the culprit...there has been articles written about the survivability of maxima clams in captivity...sometimes, they just die for no reason after a few months....

nono.. they did not kill my fish.. just that my fish decided to end its life after being with me for 3 years... sigh..
