BTW, found posting in NR and RC that relates to coco worm pooing..... So I think it is confirmed that they poo like fishes and they poo a lot!

Tank update: saw my YT ate a strand of chaeto. Then it got stuck in it's mouth and he cannot spit it out, neither can he break the chaeto off. Think he took a good 30 mins to slowly chew the chaeto in..... So agonizing looking at him do that. Silly tang. He was in so much discomfort and was constantly trying to shake off the chaeto in it's mouth.

Then later in that day, saw him poop and they was a strand of grey undigested chaeto. He poop it out and then ate it again.... Yaks!

Equipment List:

Chiller: Artica 1/5HP

Chiller Pump: Sicce 4000

Return Pump: OR3500

Skimmer: Deltec APF600

Wavemaker: Tunze Wavebox/2x Hydor K2/SCWD wavemaker

Lights: DElighting 2x150W MH + 2x 39W T5 Atinic

FR: Skimz

FR Pump: Atman AT-104

Tubby ATO, Kalkweisser Reactor with magnetic stirrer.

there was once i saw my YT poop,

less than 3secs after it came out,

the blue tang came over and gulp the whole piece of poop!

then he spat it out immediately..

i had a good laugh... lol..

why can't fish distinguish between poop and food... until they have tasted it?

think its because the food is not totally digested.. but most of the time its the tangs that whack the poop.. lol..
