turns dull colour..

more "greyish " instead of bright vibrant colours.

water parameters, food...could be the reasons to why ur fish turn a duller colour.

check yr pH level...low pH will make yr fishes and corals lose colours.

dose trace elements will help...if pH is not the problem.

PH was low for some time when I was topping up with NTUS Distilled water.

I am using a DI now but guess what..... My tap water has a PH of 8.8 !

After going thru the Crystal Pro, it becomes 9.5 !!!!

No kidding......

AM wrecking my brain to see how I can reduce the PH of my tap water.

Welcome back Jun.Sorry I cannot help much about the yuma.

Not sure what the issue is.

Generally with yumas/ rics, the minute you put them into the tank.... just leave it there for a few weeks,

Don't touch them. Think they will fair better.

For my FTS - yeah just a simple tank. Now trying to maintain it :)

Have not voice out to my wife yet btw waiting for a chance.

As for maintaining the acrylic or glass tank,no worries got my eldest son whom can help it out.

Btw get scratch on acrylic easily so it means cannot use a magnet cleaner?

Will catch up with your future tank closely. :eyebrow:

Magnet cleaner risky because if there are sand/ dried salt particles trap in between, you will be literally scratching the whole tank.

You shld be familiar with Kent Marine.

They have "The mop" meant for scraping acrylic tanks.

Try to go BBS. (barebottom sandbed = no sand)

save you the trouble and easier to maintain.

Wow... your tank is getting better and better! I see you have been busy shopping for rics! ^_^

Thanks Eugene.

Yeah nowadays I find myself staring blankly at my tank too often.

Rics shopping?? More like raiding rics.... I organize raids for World of Warcraft but this rics raiding business is even more stressful.

Very confused at the end of it too.....

Like the rics but heartache at the thought of $$ spent

Dun worry...more to come... :eyebrow:

Until the day your tank is packed from below the sand bed to above your water level, you will still have chance to shop for GEMS... :whistle
