Update on the Seasquirt.

.. I LOVE IT!!!!!

issues I had when using syringe

- Straw dropped out.

- lack of control

- mysis leak out when you did not apply pressure.

- squirt to much at one time.

- too light. tends to float in water.

Well this apparatus does not have any of the above mentioned issues.

- I manage to feed my suns without messing up the whole tank.

- sent a few mysis to my gobies and jawfish too.

AWESOME. money well spent i guess.

Jacky, where did you get this seasquirt from? How much was it, can I ask? I've been looking around for a balloon straw, but cannot find..

update on clam

I have removed their anchoring support this morning and at the moment, the clams seemed happy where they are.

Will monitoring closely in case they should decide to jump down the cliff one of these days.

If that happens, will just place them on the sandbed instead.

haha i oso super busy heh... went to kaki bukit warehouse to see sum furniture sale...den went to LFS to see the shipments and of coz visit those shops tat sells doggie coz of my gf...den went to ikea after tat giant 1 word shaggggg

Update on Jawfish

He did venture out to the front of the tank this morning.

Slowly retreated back to his burrow when I went over to see him.

Have not seen him dash so far.

I have seen him feed on pellets in the LFS but he did not seemed interested in mine.

Fed my sun this evening and at the same time, gave him some mysis.

had to release the mysis near his crevice and he would only take those that are at proximity.

Feel good to see the fish settling in and this is really a very interesting fish with nice pastel blue colouration.

Without extension, the tube is already about 1.5 ft long.

I did it this way before.

Will the hotel hold it for me if they deliver before I check in? If I were staying in one location for the 2 weeks I'll be in the states, then it's ok to order and let them deliver to my hotel. However, this time, I'll be taking some local tours and the hotels are arranged by the tour agencies so I don't even know which hotel I'll be staying in.

Yes. Just let them know you are expecting a parcel.

If you are roving and don't know which hotel, then prob cannot.

hehe... I can control releasing 1 -2 mysis for each head. in fact the control is so good that you can actually dangle a mysis at the tip of the squirt for as long as you want.
