yeah very clear like the Acrylic very much.

for your fan, I suggest you look in your storeroom to see if there is any unwanted power adaptor.

Can be laptop power, handphone charger et- any dc supply.

Most handphones are 5v dc. some pocket pc chargers are 12v

then you can go to any computer shops to get the fans.

The USB fans ones are 5v, others are 12v

The 12v large ones are about 10 - 14 SGD.

Becareful of the spinning blades though especially if you have kids.

There is no "fence" for the fans so you can get hurt by the exposed rotating blades.

I got cut by it last night. nasty.

You can the the fan guide from the shop you buy the fan.

I think is S$3 to S$4 EACH.

You need two pieces.Since your fan is expose both sides.

as long as your ampere rating on the power adaptor is sufficent, you can connect in parallel.

My adaptor has a limit of 2.5A. My fan is only rated 0.37 A. So even if I have 4 fans connected in parallel, the total amps is only 1.48Amps

So the adaptor can still support. (I think the impedance has lowered though..... WTH... reliving all my nightmares.....)

I can be TOTALLY WRONG..... Better let Sherman verify that this is correct. He is in this line.

Its day 3 and the maroon clown has stopped attacking the false perc now yay!

There is some minor bickering but hopefully that will go off with time too.

It won't go away... The maroon clown will establish its territory and if your percs go near there, they will be chased back. Also, if your maroon clown and percs are about the same size, then the maroon clown won't be that aggressive.

heh feeding time won't be that peaceful. Your maroon will boss the false perc, and over time will find that maroon will grow much bigger. Hope it works out though!

the ph range is fine bro, mine ranges from 8.10-8.2. The best indicator is your fishes and corals. If they are doing fine, then I wouldn't worry about getting them to 'optimal 8.2'.

Try to get more vigorous surface agitation. When I first started, my ph levels were hovering around 7.95-8.10. Think it may be because we use the same design: no sump, less turnover rate. After shifting my Vortech higher and aiming my return to create more agitation, it finally stabilized at my current range. My skimmer is my main aeration device, so whenever I turn off my skimmer for 12 hours when dosing my bacteria, I always run reef buffer to maintain ph, otherwise ph can drop to 7.8

PH was 7.9 a couple of days back. manage to raise it to 8.1

Will continue to try to hit 8.2

This will cause more surface agitation... ==> more oxygen ==> higher PH
