Red/Blue Carpets

Anyone out there besides DA who's keeping Red carpets or Blue ones ?

Recently acquired a Red Haddoni and was hoping to know more reefers who have success in keeping these.

Actually I am thinking that both of us have gotten Gigantea and not haddoni

Still can be sliced, just that I think need to be more careful with gigantea. Cut with scissors definitely die, need surgical scapel or fillet knife for clean cut.

Mine looks more like a Haddoni.

Search around RC and most giganteas are with extended tentacles. Very different from the one I'm holding onto.

The "posting pictures" feature seems to be off for this board so can't put up recent pictures of the specimen.

With giganteas, keeping them alive is already itself a achievement. Most infor available points to them as a extremely difficult to sustain species.

Anyway, there's an thread in RC mentioning on giganteas reproducing sexually.

You are not getting old, but the forum is.. That is why we need to upgrade to make it look fresher / younger lol.. My web developer is working on it to restore the function and everything should be restore very soon.. Hope you guys can endure for a day or two lor..
