Looks like some kind of whelk. Whelks are usually not reef-safe. Observe them closely. If they attack your other sessile livestock, then get rid of them. Some whelks like the Nassarius are reef safe to a certain extent as they feed on carrion only.

If you see them scraping algae off your glass, then they are safe grazers.

If you have sump, refugium or quarantine tank, you can put there for observation. It does look a bit like nassarius vibex - which is ref-safe.
