After 24 hrs to get it dry, you can use spray paint to cover the bonded marking and the sliding unit if color is not black.

End product! - total cost is about $15-$20 as compare the original tunze at $55.

Thanks for sharing, may I know whether it can support the weight of the Tunze 6000 series in 12mm glass? ;)

is the spray paint safe and water proof for the fish? it sure will flake off in contact with water especially salt water.

Was already proven wif my seahorse tank setup, I even sprayed the entire back glass internally, for this, it just a very small portion.

update:

Just tested on the grip power on 10mm glass wif good result, unfortunately, it's too weak on a 12mm glass, so I changed to "Floating ZE Cleaner" (L size for 16mm glass thickness). Now no problem even on a 15mm glass, but this one cost me $23.80 after discount.

bro mopiko, u r right! The paint will be slowly flaked off when time goes by, it also depends on what surface u spray on, but it will last at least 1/2 a yr in this case, and by then u might be seeing coraline algea on it.
