It's not nobody interested in latz, its because nobody know the fishes are brought in. I've been waiting latz until neck also long liao. Hope those LFS who see this thread will quickly help us stop waiting.

Buying that fish is one thing.. keepin it alive is another..

Latzs have a very poor record for survival.

Did consider getting them when they were available at Pac Marine but after asking around decided that its better to leave these guys to those with better facilities.

Hmm if latz is a difficult clownfish, then maybe we should shift our interest to this clownfish instead:

Small specimens adapt better. Do a double-pane insulated tank for them, then chiller bill won't be so prohibitive. :eyebrow:

AFter that shipment, there are no more latz shipment anymore. Anyway the pair of latz in david saxby's tank really showcase the beauty of this fish :eyebrow:

The latz in Thailand all sold out liao. Another shipment will be going to Thailand next month. Not cheap though, more than 2x the price we usually get here. Understand from the LFS that the latz there are held at 25 degrees till point of sale, better chance of acclimatization. The last time in 2007, from the bag straight into 27-28 degree waters. :pirate:

Actually, not that no one was interested.....but all were sold! A few pairs sold locally and the rest sold to Thailand.

This one also not easy - water temps also need to be along the temps of latz, and possibly a little lower...
