Used the Aquarium Pharamceuticals Inc Test KITS brand before?

I just bought a NO3 and nO2 test kit for $10 and $8 respectively with more 90 tests and 180 tests respectively.

I was on budget...hence I bought this cheaply at Changi..village..

I used to use Aqui Medi for my NO2 test...but I get...precense of N02 and NO3 the last time I tested my water...

HOwever..this time surprising just after half bucket of water change I get 0 levels for both...This can;t be true!

Anybody got experience with the accuracy..?? I mean its sure elaborate with the test tube and packaging and all and some more from UK..

i used the nitrite before..its under my 4ft thread....

u can see the colour change in there too..

not too bad in my opinion....since nitrite usually test only when starting a tank..should be good enough for its price

I just bought this NO2 test kit todayand to my shock, it reads 0.25mg/l! My tank has been running for 4months+.

Any advice what will happen to my tank, if the reading is correct?

I'm plenty of corals, a few clams, and 3 fishes inside.

NO3 is 12.5mg/l

NH3/4 is zero.

pH 8.4

Kh 11

Ca 460mg/l

I think they use Sera ... Went there before.. and their tanks are.. errr... not very nice but should check out their plankton culturing, the chamber is larger than me!!

Then there are the HUGE HUGE HUGE pumps, so huge that they are housed in another building altogether...And the huge UV blasters, huge skimmers etc etc... not to forget clams bigger than my head!!!

Hey Guys I tested the water in my Betta Tank with quite heavy feeding and guess what 0 Reading for my NO3 and NO2 again!!! It can't be..

Wonder if the chemicals used by my test kits are expired or something?
