Digiman
Looks like an allardi with a streamer. It has 2 tell-tale signs of allardi. The base of the pectoral fins is black and the third stripe near the tail only runs halfway down the body and extends along the top of the tail fin. This is confirmed a latifasciatus. It's collected in madagascar and shipped to Japan: Latifasciatus. In the link can see the female also, but to a noob person like me it looks totally like a mature allardi. FuEl
Nice. B-Box is really good in rare marine fishes! Cheers JC The so-called latifasciatus at namamugi have been sold. I am still stumped by the white tail. All reference I have read points to a yellow tail. http://namamugi.ocnk.net/product/1457 The ones at B-Box still available. SGD $914 per pc. Expected pricing for rare clowns, still cheaper than Mccullochi clowns though. http://www.b-boxaquarium.com/shopdetail/00...0202/brandname/ http://www.b-boxaquarium.com/shopdetail/00...0203/brandname/ And B-Box has A. tricinctus! SGD $120. http://www.b-boxaquarium.com/shopdetail/00...0196/brandname/ Quote Always something more important than fish. http://reefbuilders.com/2012/03/08/sps-pico-reef/

FuEl
Quite interesting to me, din know adult (1st pic) and juvi (2nd pic) of A.tricinctus looks so different in terms of colors: Amphiprion tricinctus at CF!!! The black and the orange are separate colour variations. I got 2 melanistic pieces, which seem to be less common in the trade. http://www.eol.org/pages/211395 Quote Always something more important than fish. http://reefbuilders.com/2012/03/08/sps-pico-reef/
