I am searching for an acrylic tank maker. Looking to build a 1.5 cube tank with IOS if possible. else a simple cube tank will do.

i-aquatic (ian) is the ideal person but i think he has quit? website, email, mobile - all no longer working.

any recommendation?

you can try this acrylic maker at Blk 1 Defu Lane 10 , 2nd floor , next to a sewing factory , if i remember correctly the name is Henkari Plasticworks but you will have to give him a detail drawing to make , not bad price , he made my 4ft sump with 7 compartments for $350 so far the sump is leak free for the joints

You can also try I-Aquatic, they have been specializing in marine acrylic equipments for many years. ;)

heard that he went oversea recently. will be back soon.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

6mm is definitely too thin. It will warp, and the tank will look like a bloated box. The tank makers will provide better advice. Prolly 10 to 12mm at least.

6 mm for acrylic is more then enuff , my 4 ft sump is only 6mm , acrylic is much stronger then glass

Hmmmm... I've kept those acrylic tanks with front curve edges before, and that warped for me... thickness was also 6mm.

I'll never trust curved edges or bowfront tanks, glass or acrylic. Just an opinion.

reason i need acrylic is because i have got kids and babies at home. Sp acrylic is a better choice over glass.

I think I-aquatic dissolve already. checked with singtel, there is no such company listed.

Got a quote from Dama for 200+ for the 1.5 ft cube.

Considering if I shld get just a 24g glass tank from JBJ.less than 50% of the acylic tank price.......

Show us some pics~

Okie. Once I receive my lights & accessories.... sometime next week.

Currently I have wrapped my tank and it is just sitting in a storeroom.

My tunze reefpack 200 will not be here till 3 weeks later so the progress will be very very very slow :)

I am going to order a couple of stuff from the States to help maintain the tank.

If anyone else own an acrylic tank and would like to order too, pls let me know asap. HP: 91853586.
