I never had an luck with peppermint shrimps and aiptasia

mine too, never seen them working on any of the aiptasia, big or small. the two peppermint shrimps have been in my tank 3month already..

using joe's juice, but it just cant get rid of them completely....

Your shrimps are probably too well fed to bother about risking anemone stings to get a meal.

Also, verify that they are peppermints, not camels.

Beside Peppermints, Copperband and Auriga butterflies are natural aptasia predators.

try SeaChem Aiptasia X.... the needle poke into the mouth of Aip and u slowly squeeze the syringe until it explodes!!!!! U'll be surprise how much strength is needed to blow up one!!!! Tats how i remove my Aip..... sounds cruel though....but effective!!!

For large aiptasias 1-2 shrimp can't handle, you need more of them to tackle the large ones.

It took my only peppermint shrimp some time back several months to tackle the aiptasia twice its size, but it finally did! Now I keep 4 of them...
