Pickup a Cube 7 yesterday morning from Pasar Malam

Do not really know how many gallon.

However the dimension is 12 inch by 12 inch by 12 inch

6.5 * 2 * 2 + 3.75 * 1.5 *1.5,(Decomn on 14/9/08)

Wow, cute little tank bro, how many LEDs you gonna use for this? :eyebrow: . 12x12x12" seems like 6 gallon, but since the name is Cube 7, then I guess it's 7 gallons LOL.

1. JBJ C-breeze to keep temp hovering around 27-28'C

2. LED clip on - 120 bulbs

My 3 humble equipments that keeps my tank running... [DRIED OUT]

1. The RSM itself of course 2.My NEW Deltec MCE-300 Skimmer 3. My trusty Arctica Chiller

Tank parameters:

Temperature maintained at 25.3'C to 24.7'C

No3: 10ppm(b4 the use of the deltec skimmer)

No3: 5ppm (after use of the skimmer)

Others? too lazy to measure...LOL

I have to plan and do a bit of modification in order to keep SPS.

First have to add in some small wavemaker to improve the flow.

Then have to design a small algae scrubber to keep the PO4 and NO3 low

And finally have to change the original PL lite to high power LEDS.

But all this have to be done after I complete my 5 footer algae scrubber :eyebrow:

What light is that? Looks like a 18W PL light.

You can purchase the B/W bulb from ah beng, he has the 11w and 18w bulbs, which I think your tank will not look yellowish with just the white light.

Bro, u want some "Live Sand"? I just bought a 10lbs pack but I only use like 500g for my pico tank in office. Just open for a week only, n now in my NSW storage tank. Cheap cheap, just pay me a token n see how much u need. :)

Really!!! Oh, cos I started a 2G Pico tank in office. Just with 1.5 inch of sand bed. Now only got red mushrooms and some zoos. Thinking of adding just 2 sexy shrimps and that's it. :) What happen to your previous setup with sandbed?

After 3 years of peace,suddenly one day many LS start to die off.Later found the nitrate rocket very high.

So now very afraid of sand bed

There is something wrong with my cube 7.

Big algae boom even after so many time waterchange.

Kill 2 pairs of pecular ,1 sea hare and almost kill one of my

green plate

Today morning decide to drain out all the water.After draining out all the tank water I add water to the filter chamber.

Cleanup and dry the tank and go for the breakfast
