My green fungia have daughter of colony (process call anthocauli), surprisingly for a year with me a hitch hiker seem to be open brain orangy in color suddenly appear from no where. In my knowing, never in my fragging tank do I keep brain coral.

It 'tompang' house on the mother fungia skeletal. Religiously feeding the quarry to see what actually it is and the color look unique. This is what make reefing and propagation wonderful in this hobby!

Will keep updates on the finding.

Mix reef-Main tank 3x2.5x2.5ftA

TI 3ft 8tube

Hitachi compressor unit 1HP

1 x AP- 702 Deltec

1 x Coral Lab CR with Ph controller; 1X AquaMedic Kalk Reactor top off

Baby fish dosing kh/Sr&Kcl/mg

DI water thru kalkwasser

1 x Skimz Fr with BRS gfo

2 x Rio 32hF main pump

1 x Pinpt Orp monitor

1 X Pinpt Ph monitor

Aquamedic wave maker

Sump 3x1.5ft plumbed together with;

1.5ft cube live rock

Frag tank 5x1x1ft

Haha :yeah: but <_< kind of fishy ha! Last month discovered a tiny orangy plate looking coral about 2mm.

Then now about 10mm revealed better appearance more to brain coral. Wonder if i can really know how really it come about, so can really make fortune out of them :yeah:

Latest update, but really could not figure out actual genus. Anyone can ID?

After about 6 mnths, developed multiple mouth.

Will trim the base to isolate the quary.

As promised, the updates.

Discovered this coral ID after the growth to 6cm dia. More look like Oulophyllia - family of favia.

Mind its sweeper tenticle.
