how do i know ozonizer is working?

i have one Azoo ozonizer input to my brekett skimmer.

i didnt use air pump to push air from ozonizer to skimmer, didnt do this because the skimmer will suck in air from ozonizer . hmmm did i do wrong?

i on my ozonizer 3 hours 90% daily

and i have a ORP-PH meter

my ORP always read 250 to 270 no matter i got on Ozonizer not.

i have tried to put ozonizer at 100% run for a long time , but my orp meter didnt change much.

how i wondering which item is spoil or what did i do wrong?

how to know if ozonizer is spoil or my meter. the meter i often use as PH meter. only at times i switch to ORP meter.

was told that it's best to run ozone through a "dryer" / silicon gel before going into ozoniser. how we know its works is there a fresh rain smell coming out when the ozoniser is on.

maybe u can try havin the ozone inject directly into the water via a wooden air stone. maybe the ORP will change. remember to run carbon after ozone.

think the most primitive way to test is using your nose. ORP is another indication as it will increase when the ozoniser is at work. If the ORP reading fails, use your nose. There should be a different. The smell will be of something like those when you open up a copier machine....there are few things to take note....using of carbon to filter unwanted O3, using dry air to the ozonier, type of tubes used and whether yr skimmer is able to handle the volume of O3.

bro, it wont be immediate. Turn it on for an hour....the smell should be out but not take in too much...bad for health......

for mine the smell come out immediately after i on it. if there is no smell means its not working too well and the corona discharge (or something like that) need to be replace, running through a dryer might prolong the lifespan of the corona.

i have the same problem, but my ononizer should be working, the orp got problem...I bought the 400mv calibration fluid, it only shows 350+/-.

hmmm well i wonder how to install them , i never use those b4. ozone just direct to skimmer, the water out put i put a pure chem 2 ( which consider carbon i think)

err...bro..u need to have a pump for yr ozoniser...i used to run one to my skimmer last time...otherwise, its not effective.

and only switch on in the night...not the whole day...otherwise if overdose, yr livestocks will be wipe out.

this is how i connect my ozone set up. directly inject into the overflow and run through carbon in sump tank. need to replace the silicon gel once it turn from blue to pink.
