What snails eats coraline algae?

I keep having small patches of coraline algae missing from live rock.

Could it be eaten by snails? I think I've trochus and turbo snails in the tank. Also have 1 pink cucumber always on the live rock.

Lots of coraline algae are growing on the overflow box where it can't be reached by the snails.

dont think those snails would feed on coraline

maybe u've some hitchhiker urchin?

Hopefully is just die off. Will monitor next few nights again for predators.

Oh black sea urchins feast on coralline? Goodness I have one black urchin in my tank but it still has some coralline in it... Should I remove it?

if ive enu coraline algae for my viewing pleasure .. i would leave the urchin alone...too much of coraline algae only consumes more calcium

urchin will eat yr corallline bare lah. I have 3 long spines and at nite u can see their handiwwork. After a while your liverocks will be botak hahaha
