powder series tangs are ick magnet <_< i've one that just keep chasing my golden butterfly. caught it and box it up release after 1 week. much better behaviour now

My powder is in qarrantine now :)

It is bigger than my purple and yellow. Hope it will not be a problem. Currently the yellow is the more aggressive of the two.

dose copper does help but then, hope you dont copperise yr main tank...., heard hard to get ride and keeping coral may have problem....however, if every now and then, you catch them for copper treatment, i think too cumbersome. Me also not successful in keeping them but i think they cant take much stress and like to have ample swimming space.....hence, for me, will try to introduce them first for my new tank...will get small one......once they stable...will corner them and segregate my tank and introduce my existing livestock......and release them after the agression lessen.....yet to try....lol. Better hear from those experts who got experience....

I always hypo the tank as the 1st measure. Medication is always the last resort. Moreover it works most of the time unless u are really unluckily to encounter a low salinity resistant ick, and most of the time, its actually velvet which i mistook for ick.

Since u have quarantine tank, no harm monitoring for a longer period of time.
