rusty parts of sunsun wavemaker

Recommended Posts

i guess those who use the economic version of wavemaker like sunsun encountered problems with rusty portion of the metallic parts. Any one knows how to change the parts (only a thin short metal piece that holds the fan) or solutions to this? Is it not harmful to the system?

Thanks.

You can replace it with Hydor Koralia wavemaker ceramic shaft which can be bought at AM.

so whats the power required for 4x2x2.5 tank? how much does it cost?

The tank size is same as mine. Begining I was using sunsun 5000l/hr wavemaker after 3 months the shaft rusted and broke.I replace it wtih K3 ceramic shaft cost less then 1 red note. After 6 month change to tunze 6060.

Someone in pasar malam selling 6060 at a good price.

I used to own two sun sun wave maker, bought it mainly due to the cheap price.. :P

Just Like you after few month of running, the propeller doesn't not run anymore and i have to manually use my chopstick to "kick start" it again due to the rusty parts.. By for the price for it , i cant complaint anything.
