i feed mine with linkias once every 2 weeks. they seem to love linkias more than other starfishes. as for leftovers, there are hardly any left. i see them eating the flesh of the starfish too.

IMHO Harlequin shrimp are obligate feeders i.e. they only feed on starfishes. Have never read of any other replacment feed that will be able to sustain them in a long run.

For sea urchins, if I am not wrong its Harlequin tuskfish, morays, some wrasses etc that feeds on them.

Lol. Seaurchin like more about hard to harlequin to eat leh. Anyway i scare the left over of the starfish eg, bones, would be a hassle to clear.

As per Lemon's comments Harlequin shrimp are not messy eaters thus it will not leave anything behind. However, some reefers will keep a linkia in a seperate tank and cut off small portions of it to feed the HS.

HTH ;)
