Can SPS survive under high power Leds?

Can it color up under High power Leds?

Or only MH and T5HO can do the job?

I am no expert in SPS keeping

I start only 4 months ago after replacing parts of the T5HO

light with High Power Leds

Below are some of the update.

Hope others who are using Leds can share your result

Bro Sherman,

IMO, pic 11 and 12 belongs to Hypnopora. They are commonly treated as sps though their polyp is unusally large and flarfy. Their colour do morph in terms of colour and tone when in contact with different light spectrum and intensity.

Most importantly, they are highly aggressive and should be placed a good distance from any other corals ( sps at least).

Try do some search and you probably will find out more details on that.

Looks like a radioactive birdnest to me.

If it is, you will grow to love it. It's extremely bright in colour and very easy to maintain. Mid-low lighting and it will still grow.

I guess ur high magnesium levels do help in the colouration.

Must learn how to use LED to keep sps. Can pop by to see ur setup one of these days??
