How To Keep an Moorish idol

Hi To All Bros & sis,

anyone have Success keeping Moorish Idol ? I has try many times, but they won't eat... at the end all Die

need a expert to help how to keeping them.....

bro, moorish idol need alot of swimming place and it's very hard to keep inside a tank.

Have brought my first moorish idol last last sunday, it dont eat anything i fed (pellets/seaweed/flakes/brine & Mysis shrimp) soak in garlic guard / red bamboo / grapes.

But it's still swimming around happily by pecking on the live rock (but it's getting skinner)

Lemon have one successful moorish idol feeding on anything he threw in (e.g pellets) .

Think it's better to stop trying if you tried a few times on the same species.. my 2 cents

they are fierce onli to their own species.

if house with exsisting bigger/same size fish,it will get bullied and stressout resulting in not feeding.

Moorish idol is a ficky eater and ich magnet. Best to avoid. If you die die must own one, buy from a LFS that allows you to test feed them pellets. If it eats, then you stand a better chance of keeping it. No point keep buying and keep seeing them dying.

Mine doesn't have ich, just that IT'S NOT FEEDING. so sad.. if it feeds, i will be jumping over the moon, the only thing about my MI is that it doesn't eat anything i fed. booo. really hope it can start eating.
