Water change... NSW or salt mix?

Recently tonnes of dead fish spotted at Lim Chu Kang, Sungei Buloh, due to lack of oxygen in waters. will this affect NSW ???

Anyone knows if the NSW from lfs is being treated in anyway or directly off the sea? Near our island a lot of ships anchored there. Lot of nutrients also like feces and urine.

I have always wondered where the LFS get their NSW.

Singapore being an industrial island, and it even has oil refineries on its outer islands, so it's surrounding sea can't be that clean.

Also wonder is the NSW collected treated before selling.

Anyone can provide some insights?

i have been buying nsw n e salinity always ok around 1.022 - 1.023using hydrometer. but this time round when i checked was 1.019. should i get a small box of reef salt to add in?

It might depend on the batches. It carries a risk unlike brewing it yourself. I use NSW but need to "Low Liao" before using.

Yes..tap water with anti-chlorine..mix with redsea salt..my FOWLR ok..

My exp with nsw not that good..different sg for different batches..I scare of parasites too..cheers
