Suncoral

I got a suncoral from a Marine LFS but I notice most reefers sun corals are orange whereas mine is yellow. Any differences ?

one thing very weird also... why the body white color one...

The white body is its shell. I realise most people suncorals are orange lumps corals whereas mine is white hard shell like a football with yellow corals.

there are yellow , orange and even black sun coral.

as for the white part...they are the die-offs.

yup... saw a lot od bad grade sun coral from there few days ago.. too many white showing

Got this white stuff with my gonipora too sometime ago. It started from the side, slowly within 1 week wipe out the whole piece already.

Hey just with one thing which you got and not satisfied with, IMO you should not blacklist the shop so early. It may be your fault to choose a dying sun coral. And thats my 2 cent

Heart pain...that saleman just stand there and said "All are good and nice"....I asked why got white stuff, he said it is the shell....
