notice a smell when when the chiller is running.the chiller is 1 day old.its not burnin smell neither it is foul.haiyaa...very hard to describe..di u guys hav similiar experience on the reef relief?

will other reef relief chiller users feedback to me.

Oh... that is the '1st day' syndrome.... Dr Chill says its when the chiller is new... it smells of hot machinery/metal heating. It'll disappear over the next day.

anyway the refrigerant is quite odourless..and if it leaks it would take quite a while before you notice weakened performance..nah..brand new PCs smells like tt too!!hehehe

even my Eido chiller had such a smell. don't worry lah. probably is the running-in of metallic parts.

my mum claimed that mine was a burnt smell by the way. when me and my girlfriend didn't even smell anything. weird.
