Since it's as rare as colini, seen less than 5 times a year and not more than 2 or 3 specimens per shipment, it's rare to me. Also i only label it "rare" and not bigger terms like "very rare", "super rare" or "ultra rare" etc. Anyway, with the experience from my previous peppermint hogfish, it gets real aggressive towards all other wrasses! SRC Member kueytoc Posted June 15, 2009 SRC Member Share Posted June 15, 2009 So far mine have been pretty docile & they always got 'walloped' by its distant fairy cousins. My experience with this fish is that they are really shy and a great jumper(I lost a huge pair due to jumping ). They are pretty rare in Singapore, usually coming in small no. but very common in HK. Anyway its a Bodianus Sepiacaudus not a Bodianus Opercularis. B.Opercularis comes from Africa and is very rare while its slightly more common cousin, B. Sepiacaudus comes from the deep water of indo- pacific.
