Where is your Skimmer Drain Pipe be???

does it affect performance? i read in some forums saying that drain outlet is submerge it will create backpressure and reduce performance

yet there are some reads that if place above water tend to cause overflowing in the skimmer

like to find out what qare the ways reefers here plump their drain pipe

My skimmer outlet is above water and return to 1st chamber, to prevent mircobubble !

the water level in my skimmer will drop if the drain pipe is submerged.

think its because the water level in my skimmer is higher than the sump water level so syhponing happens
