Hi Bro and Sis...

Any kind soul here can advice me on the Vortech MP40Gen 2 ?

Is there a different between Lagoon and Reef mode compare constant Speed (Green)?

When I select above, (Lagoon or Reef) I could not feel the pulse and it just go constant speed, expecially when I select Lagoon mode..

I can set the pulse mode when go into "blue" light.. Is this normal ?

Many Thanks.

i set to the short pulse mode/blue, after saving, the light is alternating blue and green. just choose a max speed and then tuning the pulse freq.

i used to have lagoon/purple mode, but feel it too strong or too weak, and then given up on further tuning it....but the output does seem random as i gauge from the goniopora movement

there are controllable.....depending on what you keepp...full sps...i think good...for lps....may pose a problem but if you reduce the flow, may not be that bad. try one and if you think no enough...then go for second one....

bro, try different placement to achieve wavebox effect. For anemoes, they dont like wave......GSP and xenia still ok.....not too many corals...hence still ok to use both...once you put in more other LPS and if you encounter problem...you may have to sacrifice one.....if you selling....can also inform me....lol.

actually i am very impress with the mp40..

Just with one, i am able to create the wave effect in my 422 tank... till now i am lazy to put another to use.. hehehe :P when weekend, then i go try to use another.. cos i can't place other 1 at the opp end, as mine tank is partition tank(block by a wood)

I thought anemone will like wave? i not very sure...
