Decided to restart my marine after the last fish died. Hand too itchy, think i introduced it too fast. So, started all the cycling again from start in Aug 2003.

Cycling the tank, August 2003. Regret using flash, now i look back the pics look very ugly. Here's the best of the lot, the rest really cannot make it.

Sept 2003, after cycling was done. Added in a damsel and a cleaner shrimp. Yes, i confess i was using those Pink FLs at that time. :P

Photos damn lousy.... :(

Overview of the tank, taken with flash. Redid the rockwork because i wasn't sure if the 1st arrangement was safe.

Didn't take any pics in Nov2003, so here's the tank in Dec2003.

Changed the Pink FL to a 2x36W PLs in Nov2003. 10,000K bulb and Actinic Blue bulb.

Added 1 purple firefish,2 featherduster worms and more LRs in Nov2003. Didn't add anything this month yet.

Overview of the tank, hehe, sorry about the net there just holding the filter media from my old hang-on filter. It leaked, so i changed to a new one and the net is holding whatever filter media that couldn't be placed in the new filter. Haven't removed the net yet but would remove it soon.

Post more pics later when i get back from dinner.

word of advice..do not get discourage when u c src members' tanks.everyone has to start from scratch.perseverence is the key to one's success.

some notes..

ur powerhead try 2 place it slightly higher so as to prevent detritus or debri from being blown away too often on LRs.

since u hav a small tank-go for nano instead.its more pleasing even though in 1/2 or 1 feet!

keep posting those pics..who noes i might want to buy ur future softies of LS..

Thinking of placing my powerhead higher, but haven't decided where to place it. The current hang-on filter doesn't provide as much surface agitation as my old one.
