after cycling

hi guys juz finished cyclin my tank ...nh4 + no = 0 nitrates still high at 25 juz switch on my skimmer a week ago ..... currently skimmer a bit dirty is it commom??? also previously post on the net on some pictures can anyone tell me what r those things.... thanks!!!

Seems like your tank nothing to skim... or is it the skimmer not doing its job...

what i meant is the body of the skimmer looks dirty not the collection cup ....

It is normal.. mostly brown algae... those polyps are star polyps...

brown polys ...cool ...survived thru the whole cycling period ...thanks terryz ....any idea what the white thing looks like mushroom but looks too transparent .....

Erm.. why? Actually doesn't seem like there's anything wrnog with his skimmer..

skimmer is weipro 2012 ph is cr ??? anyway flowrate is 2000l/h .... anyway still waiting for no3 to come down .....
