rouge_noir
in one of the small holes on my LR, I notices this greenish thing with feelers? I can't really see what it is coz only the "feelers" come out and think I just saw 3 "feelers" now when I double check, there are only 2. The thingie looks "hairy" but it does not venture out. I've been watching it for a few days already. The "feelers" are a whitish green.... I wanna take a pic but I can't figure how to take macro pics with my Olympus c-50 it is kind of small..... any idea?

SRC Member blacknails Posted December 5, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted December 5, 2003 Yup I agree... Think it's bristle worm... Is it elongated? Like a worm? If so then it is good for your tank. But a small chance it could be Mantis Shrimp but very very likely the harmless Bristle Worm..
rouge_noir
doesn't look like a bristle worm. The two feelers are are "hairy" and are about 2-3cm? only the 2 "feelers" are sticking out of the hole. doesn't look like a mantis too... just 2 feelers waving... the end of the feeler is fine and ends in a small hook bend

Can teach me how to take good macro shots? I tried and it sucked
