some updates..

i added an 8 line the other day from CF and the week after my YT, BT, royal gamma died.. got some flaky skin disease. the clowns survived but the mama clown is down with the disease too. the 8 line is still very healthy n feeding pallets. i think i'm not gonna add anymore fish for at least 1 more month... today went lck itchy wanna get YT again to help prune the algae in the tank but resisted the temptation.

how to get rid of the flaky skin disease? is it marine velvet?

i also took some time off today to photograph my tank. my 500d can't auto WB well so gotta take in RAW and pp each.

got from lck today actually. lucky pick! haha let it stabilize first, it was opening up so big at the farm... will let u know if i'm fragging.. keep us updated on the gem u just acquired, looking good!

mm.. not sure what camera u're using.. i'm using the canon 500d. it doesn't allow me to set white balance w/ temperature so what i do is take as RAW format and go to adobe photoshop / light room to change the photo temperature to around 20k (royal blue led) and around 14k (for white / blue led)

time for a weekly update!

bought a purple tang from a nice bro and its in my blue tub now, trying to get it to feed first before transferring. main tank seem to be cleared of disease, clowns have recovered, 8 line wrasse still as active as ever.

also removed 30% rocks so that purple tang would have more space to swim, while retaining most of my corals

now for the pics! all taken under royal blue LED n post processed

first up, red blasto! a nice bro gave me a small head when he decommed n now it is at least 5 heads already!

orange plate, super fleshy like a donut in the day time. and it walks around alot in my tank for some reason....
