Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

I suggest to let the nature takes course.

They will chase each other at first to tell the others who is the leader.

After a few months, they will be in a group.

If you quarantine them, they will become more fierce.

It happens to lots of my types of fishes but after many yrs/mths, they became good mates in the tank.

:whistle

Now that you managed to catch the black pair, here's what you can do:

1) Remove the Black pair from your current tank into a separate tank without view of the current tank

2) Re-arrange all rock works

3) Introduce Orange pair, wait for 1-2 days

4) Introduce Black pair

Should work, if it doesn't. Repeat the above steps but let the Orange pair into the tank for 3-4 days before introducing Black Pair. ;)

Another thing I can't help but to notice is your Black Pair is equally in size thus I doubt they are bonded. What is the size of your Orange pair?

the blackie always swim, sleep, bully the orange together, so i assume they are paired

maybe i am wrong, might be siblings instead lol

the size of the orangy are 1" and 1.5"

If the blackie is larger, then better to:

1) re-arrange rock works

2) introduce orangey

3) hold 3-4 days

4) introduce blackie

HTH ;)
