Here's a pic (taken a few months ago) of my nano doing well with the above lighting, chiller and sump/refugium setup. As some of you may know, I've moved many of my corals and clams over to my larger tank. I plan to start a new nano system connected to my larger setup. Hence the SALE. :)

Wow..you mean that tank was running on pure PLs?

It was running on the 2x55W fixture (using Coralife PL) that I'm selling plus another 1x55W 17000K DIY. :) That's a whopping 165watts in total for a 12" shallow tank.

Hmmm..so sps can indeed be kept using PLs. :eyebrow:

Always something more important than fish.

how does the chiller works? I see that there is a fan blowing on a heat exchange sink and thereby cooling the water?? or does it work like the chiller in the big tank but a lot smaller?

I have a 2.5 ft tank with about 140l of water. can it do the job?

It's a thermoelectric chiller. Only effective for smaller tanks, 2ft or less.

Hey Riot, how's it going dude? Note that I said... PM me if interested. ;)
