I've recently got a mimic tang but i've noticed it doesn't seem to be feeding. They feed on algae right? I tried feeding it with those red algae with small "grapes" on them but it doesn't seem to be interested. Do they eat that? Its a very nice fish with bright yellow and erect fins. I don't wish that it'll waste away.

Any food alternatives? Thanks.

you got a fish not eating.

try to induce it feeding, by dropping some flakes.

or if u have cylcop-eeze, (the smell) may also helps abit.

There's also some marine algae weeds, can try that. This fish also need the algae (vege) supplement to maintain its colour, if not time to come, it will develop head disease.
