Where is the best place to get a fast turn around on a refill for my gas bottle?

where did you buy the CO2 bottle?

If the normal black/silver 5l type then you can just swap 1-2-1 on the spot and pay $15 for the CO2.

Go to the fW lfs shop in Boon Keng Rd. It is at the traffic junction facing one of the exit of Boon Keng MRT station. He fill the bottle on the spot for $15.

If I remember correctly, the shop name is System and Control Engineering Co. located at Blk 22 Boon Keng Road.

yeah also called bioplast I think, anyway very very fast service, but I think he charges acc to tank size, can't rem I think I was charged 10 bucks last time

Be wary of those instant top ups... they basically force CO2 into the bottle from another larger CO2 bottle... in the end you don't really get a full top up as the CO2 is not properly compressed...

Also, my old CO2 bottle got busted when I went to one of those instant top ups..

Please note that instant top ups are not the same as the 1 for 1... the 1 for 1 usually they send the canisters back to the factory to be properly re-filled... (well at least we hope they refill it properly)

If the CO2 is from Dupla, why don't you go to AquaTechnic to get them refill for you. Or you can also send to soxal, but you need to wait for few days to be returned to you. Try call soxal maybe nowadays they have express service.

You can buy them from the "Ah pek" plant shop in Lor Harlus.

I bought mine more than 3 yrs ago, I think with the regulator and 5L CO2 tank it cost me less than $200.

I saw it for sale at a few LFS at paris ris too.
