Looking for Court Jester Goby

Anybody seen Court Jester Goby...looking for this....very good in controlling algae...used to got them from JM but my dottyback killed them all.

Bro, last 2 shipments from Ah Beng also have.

this is a rainford's goby. aka court jester. if doint have, u can also get the similar looking hector's goby. both eat algae also.

they like tanks with good growth of filamentous algae for them to graze on. otherwise will starve. unless u get them feeding on normal food.

Ok thanks bro! need a couple of them to control my algae....coz they can squeeze into tiny areas where my hands cannot reach.

if u have massive hair algae problems, this will not be advisable la hah! coz they eat very slow as wat amby said. the algae grow faster than it is being eaten. unless u dun mind la. they are cute fishes.

my algae problem not so serious now...i just need them to maintain...coz i also scrub my tank walls regularly...let me c how...coz i m upgrading soon...may have problem catching them later...lol

if u maintaining, then this goby is good for u. they are pretty slow at eliminating, but good at maintaining (:

Ok bro lemon..cheerios!

Btw, do you think it is a good idea to build a tank w/o overflow...meaning i used an external overflow into the sump, and using my cannister as return?

I intend to change to a 3ft shallow tank, then use my current 2footer as sump.

Then for lighting i intend to use LED..or you think 6 x T5 will be better?

The height will be 1ft plus....approx 35cm. 70% LPS and softies & 30% SPS

i dunno about this kind of things lol. equipment, set up all i not very sure. perhaps u can ask others for help??

questions regarding livestock then i maybe can help haha
